Patrons are supporters working with us strategically to train talent from under-represented backgrounds and achieve tangible outcomes making the TV and media industry more inclusive. Proposed activities can be dialed up or down and are matched with the demands of each patron supporter. Our patron supporters are investing in training activities and help us support alumni and the industry at large.
Being an employer where everyone feels at home and can be the best version of themselves is a core value of ours. MAMA Youth are the best in the market for sourcing and developing a truly diverse pipeline of talent that is ready for production. Bella Lambourne, HR and Operations Director at Banijay
Corporate supporters work closely with MAMA Youth team and help train and nurture the next generation of talent.
"We are enormous fans of MAMA Youth. Bob Clarke and his team have created a fantastic training scheme. What makes the MYP traineeship unique is that the trainees get in at the deep end making ‘What’sup TV’, a Broadcast series for SKY one. This gives them an incredible advantage as they experience the challenges and demands production teams face on a daily basis. Then when they apply for their first job after completing their traineeships they appreciate what they are letting themselves in for! Bob and his team have also drilled in to the trainees the importance of having a strong work ethic, ensure they build positive working relationships and encourage them to face problems head-on rather than run away from them. It’s tough love in the best possible way as MAMA Youth do not shy away from the realities of working in the TV industry and also the incredible opportunities this profession can bring to those who give their all to the job." Emily Gale, Head of Talent Fremantle Media
