MAMA Youth Project is dedicated to equipping young people who have limited education and work opportunities by getting them trained and employed in the TV and media industry.
Since becoming a registered charity in 2007, it has trained 520 young people. 82% are working in the industry 6 months after training and 90% are in permanent employment after completing the training.
A huge congratulations to all trainees for their hard work and dedication in completing 14 weeks of intensive bootcamp TV training. With determination they have successfully made 7 x 30min episodes of What's Up TV. Be sure to catch the first episode on Sky One on the 8th of February 2020!
